Welcome to Always22. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our iOS application.

1. Information We Collect

A. Location Data

Background Location: Always22 requires background location access ("Always Allow") to determine if you are near your vehicle before initiating automated preconditioning. This ensures we only use battery power when you are actually preparing to leave.
Foreground Location: We use your location while the app is in use to calculate driving time to your scheduled calendar events.
Note: Location data is processed locally on your device or sent securely to our servers solely for feature functionality. We do not sell or share your location history with third parties for marketing purposes.

B. Calendar Data

When you authorize Google Calendar integration, we access your calendar events (specifically event times and locations) to schedule vehicle preconditioning.
We do not store the content of your personal event descriptions or invitees on our servers longer than necessary to process the schedule.

C. Account and Vehicle Information

Tesla Connection: We use official Tesla OAuth to connect your vehicle. We do not see or store your Tesla account password. We receive a secure token to communicate with your vehicle via the Tesla API.
User Account: If you create an account with us, we collect your email address for authentication and communication purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

Provide our core service: automated vehicle preconditioning based on your schedule.
Calculate accurate departure times using traffic and location data.
Send you notifications regarding your scheduled events and vehicle status.
Improve our app's accuracy and reliability.

3. Data Protection and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Communication between the app, our backend services, and the Tesla API is encrypted. We rely on secure mechanisms like Apple's App Groups and secure storage (AsyncStorage) to keep your local data safe.

4. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you, including:

Google Mobile Ads: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to provide relevant ads. (See Google's Privacy & Terms for more details).
Google Calendar API: Used for event synchronization as explicitly authorized by you.

5. Your Choices

Location Permissions: You can revoke location access at any time through your iOS Settings, though this will disable our smart automation features.
Calendar Access: You can disconnect your Google Calendar from within the app settings.
Tesla Account: You can revoke our app's access to your Tesla via your Tesla account settings or by signing out within our app.

B. 行事曆資料

C. 帳號與車輛資訊

Tesla 連線： 我們使用官方 Tesla OAuth 連接您的車輛。我們不會看到或儲存您的 Tesla 帳號密碼。我們取得安全憑證 (Token)，以便透過 Tesla API 與您的車輛通訊。

3. 資料保護與安全

我們實施業界標準的安全措施來保護您的資料。應用程式、我們的後端服務以及 Tesla API 之間的通訊皆經過加密。我們依賴如 Apple 的 App Groups 與安全儲存 (AsyncStorage) 等安全機制，確保您本地資料的安全。

4. 第三方服務

我們可能會使用收集可用於識別您身分資訊的第三方服務，包含：
